Shouldn't be too hard to PAF with the generic launcher if someone has the time, especially if it doesn't use the registry.
Anyway... so this does the same thing as, say, ConvertXtoDVD? The comments on the page you linked make it seem unreliable, however.
I already have the no install version. I think it does make a few changes in the registry. Yes, many video types are supported for importing to the program. It is a constantly improving program.
