Note: This is not the same Firefox profile as the one indicated in this topic; it's the one on my flash drive, which was never used in that situation/test.
Just today, which was not the first time I'd used Firefox Portable 3.5, it worked fine. Started it again, and my bookmarks toolbar was gone, and my custom layout (home after menu bar; bookmarks toolbar items, downloads, history, activity wheel added to the menu bar) was reverted and one of my extensions' toolbars broken. Well, I hid the broken toolbar and set my layout up again. Closed Firefox, opened it up again - reset again.
I've heard talk of broken profiles - is this that? My bookmarks all seem to be intact; there aren't many of them. And I stay logged in here and at Google (News, Gmail). Well, most of the time, but that's normal. Not sure why it's acting funny all of a sudden, but it's getting reinstalled when I get home.

Well, a reinstall did not help. Actually it wasn't a reinstall, per se, but rather, I got home and saw Firefox 3.5.1 was online, so I installed that over 3.5.
Didn't help.
So I backed up my bookmarks, few as they were, and just deleted the Data directory. Started over. Almost. Should have backed up that Plugins directory too. Oh well, I'll take care of that tomorrow.
Firefox feels faster, more responsive, too, so that's a plus.
