I installed this and am impressed by the scan option, as well as uninstall.
Also, the hide/unhide options are great.
The text size, transparency etc is cool.
It seems to work faster as well, with switching to front among other things as well I appreciate the drive checker; the ability to hide desktop icons is very interesting as well and makes me wonder what else this thing can (or should) do.

..and a few other things if I may:
since there is an option to hide desktop icons, maybe something neat could be including shortcuts from other appliations "outside" of the Portable Applications Menu or whatever it's called now.
I ask because were something like that to be implemented it would mean, at least for me that I could
a) Use PAP to open ANY program on my hard-drive with or without Admin priviledges
b) if I packed up my usb stick and went to another machine the shortcuts could simply disappear or work similar to how windows asks if you want to delete.
In any case I am most impressed that these functionalities have been embraced to this degree and would be most enamoured were they to be extended.
As with the previous installer I am finding lately that often there are extended delays before I can access any of the functions of the menu, so much so now that if I pin PA.c to the start menu of Windows Vista, if I click on it (pinned shortcut) again while I am waiting it can almost crash explorer.
Just letting you know ahead of time that what I believe should happen is a right-click menu needs to be implemented so that immediate interaction can be had, as well as show/hide etc.

I think your comment is a little beyond the pale, as I've been told by the head developer not to "clutter" comment threads.
As this is such a slow moving forum I think you best be appreciative and not authoritave of what users' do.
