Is there any chance of adding the date of last update for each application listed on the Applications webpage on the web site?

Unlikely

The new Platform release will include an Updater/Installer so you can easily keep your Apps up to date.

you could go to out Sourceforge project page. There they are all in a list with the version numbers: http://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/
