transmit pref. and bookmarks from portable to local

hi,
i have a problem, i was on a year abroad, and took my mail and email with me (portable thunderbird and firefox). the problem now is that i do not know how i get my data from the usb to the local drive. can somebody help me?

Copy it

Just copy it from the portable locations (PortableFirefox\Data\
profile) to the standard local location (C:\Documents and Settings\[login]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles\profile.???) and then delete the file compreg.dat. That should work with the exception of extensions that hardcode paths (which aren't portable and you wouldn't be using anyway)
