Today I have installed PTh+enigmail+GPG 1.5.0.2 on USB/1GB/truecrypt.
Mail works fine. But only without encryption.
1) error: iconv.dll not found. Ok, no problem. iconv.dll downloaded and put to ..\PortableThunderbird\App\gpg - works fine.
2) error: encryption command failed
gpg: skipped : Secure key not found
gpg: signing failed: Secure key not found
I have found no way to solve this problem:
mail@domain.de, pubring.gpg, secring.gpg, trustdb.gpg are all in ..\PortableThunderbird\App\gpg - as described in "gpg_readme.txt".
What should I do?
Thanks, Martin
Walk through the installation wizard. You need to create your key to sign your emails and setup your keyring. It's best to copy them from a local install into PortableThunderbird\Data\gpg
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I have put all my (exist) keyfiles into ..\PortableThunderbird\App\gpg
Now - works fine.
The problem was: In
..\PortableThunderbird\App\gpg\gpg_readme.txt
is written: Put your keyfiles here.
Args.
Thank you, Martin
The readme file in PortableThundebird\App\gpg says to "put your keyfiles here". That seems like a pretty clear instruction to me.

Wow, great!
You can read instructions - but bad news: The instruction is not correct.
You can put all keyfiles in "PortableThundebird\_App_\gpg" - nothing will gone.
If you put alle keyfiles in "PortableThundebird\_Data_\gpg - _this_ is the correct place: The README under "PortableThundebird\_App_\gpg" is a foul.
Please excuse my bad english - I hope you can understand the problem.
Martin
Sorry; you confused me. Your last post said...
What you told me was that you put your keyfiles into App\gpg and it worked fine, but at the same time said the instruction to put them into App\gpg was incorrect. Be on the lookout for typos like that: they're the most confusing kind.
