What makes this better than ImgBurn, which already has a portable version (not here, though; check portablefreeware.com)?

I've used Nero before and yes, it's nice if you have the Ultimate version (has a DVD authoring studio, a media player, other random stuff), but first off it's commercial payware, second, it's built as a suite and would be an absolute bear to portablize and it might not even be entirely possible. For just the burning, there are the afforementioned ImgBurn and InfraRecorder (I personally prefer ImgBurn), for DVD authoring there's DVDStyler Portable, and media players you have a choice of several. Come to think of it, the only reason I ever really liked Nero was because of it's cool 3D menus in the DVD creator and because at the time it had the only good .h264 decoder other than iTunes...
Quamquam omniam nescio, nec nihil scio.
With infra recorder I have no good experiences... everywhere if I want to burn images, nothing happens or breaks off. For ImgBurn there is no portable application in the PA.comFormat which is without mistake.

infrarecorder is 1 word btw and are you sure you are trying to burn images properly? because it works fine for me on all the computers I have (3pc's and a laptop)
