recursive path fun (3.1) and templates

XP Pro SP3
installed on local hard drive: N:\port\ (N:\port\OpenOffice)

clicking templates causes a fit searching for

"..\..\..\..\..\.."

oops? my bad?

OpenOffice 3.1 also installed locally (C:\program files\OpenOffice)
