Using the current version of KeePass?

Any way you guys could make a PA launcher for the actual current version of KeePass Password Safe, Professional Edition? I'm not sure if it'll work, but if it would, it would be very nice. Since that's what I run on my home computer, I have to import changed from my Portable version to my home version, and that gets a little annoying. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

1.0 vs 2.0. 2.0 is not portable

1.0 and 2.0 are two different versions. 2.0 is not the successor, really, as 1.0 is continuing actively development.

The 2.0 version is .NET-based and won't work on any PC that doesn't already have .NET installed on it (so it won't work in most net cafes, hotel business centers, library computers, university PCs, etc).

The 1.0 version is based on traditional software techniques and languages and will work on all Windows PCs regardless of the .NET environment existing. Plus it'll work on Windows 9x and on Linux/BSD via Wine. Plus it uses the standard kdb files that are used by all other ports of KeePass including the versions for Android Phones, Palm OS, etc rather than the kdbx files that are only used by KeePass 2.0 on Windows. Plus it works with more plugins. The 1.0 is more popular than the 2.0 version, is used by more people and is supported by more applications on more operating systems.

Just switch your home PC version to 1.0 and then you can move the files automatically to your portable version, your android phone with KeePassDroid, your Palm OS phone, your Blackberry, etc.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Blackberry 1.x, 2.x

Thank you for the great work you have done making KeePass portable.
Newer Blackberrys use software that is version 4.6 and greater. There is a problem synching the database between desktop KeePass 1.x and the Blackberry version for many users. The recommendation is to use version KeePass 2.x and the corresponding BB version. This means that the portable version of KeePass can't share the database.
