Take

Take miranda-im-v0.8.4-unicode.zip -> 0.8.4 (Unicode) from http://code.google.com/p/miranda/downloads/list, extract it to app-path and thats it. there is no need to wait for an portable version, because launcher is the same

Apps on my Portable Device:
Miranda, Firefox, Sunbird, Thunderbird, 7-Zip, FileZilla, GIMP, OOo, Sodoku and VLC
