SciTE is portable out-of-the-box AFAIK. It requires no installation.
For the love of all that is good, search the forum before asking for something! Both of these requested apps are available already.

You know, it would be nice if there were a list of stuff that you guys consider already portable and not worth your time or programs that are close and just need a small tweak and what that is. It would make it more official for the new guys and save a lot of duplication of effort.

Although it wouldn't change much. It would still have to be read by people. If taking a few moments to search the forums is too hard, what makes you think that having another topic will help(even if it is pinned at the top)?
Don't get me wrong, that would be great - if it was used. Ultimatly the point is moot. This is Mr. Haller's forum, therefore he is final say.

I'm using Notepad++ as a portable app and it seems to be working fine.
