It's a virtual drive program. Unfortunately, since mounting drives requires admin privileges...
And let's not even mention the fact that Daemon Tools requires installation of a driver on the machine you're using it on. Don't expect to be able to do that without administrative privileges.
Eesh. People have to understand that not every application can magically be made portable.

well, I do know there are people out there that just don't know quite as much as others, and don't even know how to find out more info. (I've encountered them, they're real! :P) Maybe it would be a good idea to post a sticky stating the features of an app that render it non-portable... *starts scheming..*
