requesting/question: is there an offline spyware scanner or portable one?

I mistakenly made a booboo on a file I should never have opened. I'm questioning the stability of this install as getting weird opened programs (eg. winrar has 4 processes -- and several weird errors after opening archives).

I HAVE tested the system with avg, spybot and adaware, but call me paranoid but I still don't trust things. I'm going to download clamav, and maybee run in a preinstall enviroment to make sure but I wanted to know if anybody is working on, knew of, can recommend something that doesn't need install, is being developped by someone for portableapps.com, or works in pe without prior fiddling?

please help!

You need an independent OS

All portable apps and all anti-malware apps require an OS to run on, if your OS is infected you may need a different approach. You need a Live CD system that can access your hd and clean it. 911cd.net's BartPE is an option that can help you. There are others.
