very time i try and setup yahoo or aim on my Pidgin portable i get an error "unable to connect: connection refused" i have my username (with out the @yahoo.com) password under advanced

chat room locale: us
encodeing UTF-8
not checked: ignore conference and chatroom invitations
not checked: use account proxy for ssl connection
under proxy tab
proxy type: no proxy
please help

Under proxy settings, do "Global proxy settings"
I have two yahoo accounts. One worked fine and second one was disabled. In proxy settings I had "Global proxy settings" so I switched it to "No proxy" and now the disabled yahoo account works.
In AIM account proxy seetings I also set "No proxy" and it works properly too. Even if it connects quite slow...
i have tryed both global proxy and no proxy and neather of them are working.
