I'm looking for free mmorpg's, preferably ones that are portable and can run off my flash drive. I know there is The Mana World Portable and that is a good game, but could someone make a free 3d mmorpg similar to World of Warcraft?
Edit: It doesn't have to be similar to World of Warcraft, I just wanted a portable free 3d mmorpg.

I also would like to have an 3d mmorpg program within my portableapps suite... - I think, it would be great, if you could build and join different worlds ( one medi eval nearly reality world, one fantasy world like middleearth, one sci-fi world with future technology items and spaceflights as in X3, one today time war world leaning on Medal of Honor or similar ) with the program... - So, to build new worlds, a Mod-Editor would be needed, within or as a second portable app... - If you could import object-meshes from CAD and/or Raytracing ( I often use POV-Ray, which normally doesn't use meshes, except i want it to use a mesh. ) programs, this could be nearly perfect, i think...
Are you both talking about creating a new WoW-like game with user-editable worlds spanning several game genres? That would be awesome.
When a programmer would build a platform and some editors, the users could build their own worlds within such a RPG... - That would probably be the best way... - I could then generate a Fantasy-RPG with elves, dwarfes, men, hobbits and orcs, for example... - ...or i could create a Sci-Fi-RPG with humans, vulcans, andorians, deltans, romulans, klingons, and borg... - I could build up a planet, where it's hard to find a tree, 'cause it's very cold or hot on the whole planet... - ...or i could build a planet, which was a dreamland for every arborist and/or gardener...

I've seen "X3" running on a friends PC... - ...and i've seen, there's a scripting-language built-in... - With that scripting-language, you're able to define your own starships, sectors of the galaxy and so on... - "X3", unfortunately, is space-specific... - You can't build a Fantasy-World with it...
