Plugins: Will the Firebug plugin install on Portable Firefox

I want to install Firebug on my USB flash drive into my Firefox Portable installation.

Will this work?

Is there a Firebug Portable somewhere or will the regular Firebug install work with Firefox Portable?

It works

It certainly works because I'm running firebug in Firefox Portable as I type this. As to whether Firebug is portable or not, I assume so. I can't imagine that it writes files anywhere (Other than the Firefox portable directory maybe), or that it changes the registry.
