Thunderbird 3 beta 4 slow

For me, it is MUCH faster starting, faster checking mail, faster switching folders, faster exiting.

I have about 1/3 of a GB of mail spread across about 60 folders over several accounts, all of them using IMAP.

It took an age at first, since it tries to download and index a local copy of every single email, but once it had done that, the performance here has been superb, and, thanks to the index, searching is wonderful.

I've had a couple of crashes for no seeable reason, and some UI corruption on password boxes that pop up in the background, but then it is beta still.
