Just downloaded and installed portable chrome and while it works fine, it did not put an icon on the PA menu. Is there an easy way to add this to the start menu?

You just move the Portable Chrome folder to X:\PortableApps\ (assuming
is your portable drive) and click Settings | Refresh! That would do it.
I had tried that and still no go. Is there a manual way to add it??

The menu does fetch the icon directly from a file or from the exe.
What path is your GoogleChromePortable.exe in?
