There is a million apps I would like a portable version of on this site. But to which probably I could contribute myself one day (not a million thought).
But there is out there a portable version of Sandboxie about Sandboxie Portable
Made by somebody called wraithdu (I assume this is the same wraithdu as from this forum).
Portable Sandboxie would be a big contribution to the development section
Is there anyway getting this to PAF standards ?

The version wraithdu made portable was 2.3.0.4 - and 2.5, the furthest back the history on their front page goes, was released more than three years ago, without any support for Vista. Now their software is up to 3.40.
It could be worth while asking wraithdu if he's interested in continuing the project.

I haven't made any updates to the project....cause none are needed. It still works just as it did before.
I'm not interested in PAF'ing this, as it was not originally a PApps project, and its portability is technically 'dubious' since it installs a driver and a service.
Additionally, Sandboxie is not freeware, it is shareware with a perpetual limited trial ability. In other words, it is not free, but you can use the limited version for free, forever.
Lastly, I obtained special permission from the author to create and distribute that package in agreement with his license terms. That does not include modifying it for PApps and distributing it here.
EDIT -
Oh, and 2.3.0.4 is my version number and has nothing to do with the current version of Sandboxie. My package does not include the Sandboxie installer, which you must download separately.
A shame it can't be on this site, but anybody who has any interest in this amazing portable shouldn't have any problems finding it !
I have been using it for a while now, in combination with Registry Recovery (by Mitec), to be able to read the registry-hive. The perfect combination !
Thanx for developing this Portable

Drivers and services won't be a problem soon with the universal launcher as it is having support for these built into it because of a request from one of our upcoming software partners (though naturally this will make such applications require administrative privileges).
It might be worthwhile if you checked to see if it your launcher still maintains portability for the latest version.

As much as it is able, yes it does. The basic format and working of Sandboxie has not changed in a long time. In accordance with the developer's wishes, my launcher silently executes the regular Sandboxie installer / uninstaller as part of the process. The uninstaller is very good, and the driver is dynamically unloaded and removed. However there are always 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY*' keys which will remain until a reboot. Obviously this would not react very well to the computer being shut down while the app/launcher is running.
Services are one thing, how is the platform going to handle drivers?
The following could be backed up, I believe.
And, of course cleaning the sandbox after exiting, or could the ini file direct the sandbox to usb-drive ?
Do the other registry keys/values matter, seems clean otherwise !
What do you mean with platform exactly, do you mean the PortableApps Menu ?

The LEGACY keys are left over from the driver and can only be removed by a reboot (just try to delete it yourself = access denied).
The sandbox location and cleaning on exit is all controlled through the INIs. Read the help file for all the info you need.
Never new or expected that .
See what you mean now, but if they get removed after a reboot anyway, I do not see a problem personally.

It'll be there in the launchers (not the platform). Never fear

Again, I doubt the ability of NSIS' and the available plugins to implement driver installation. I tried to figure it out with Virtual Box. Didn't happen. And yes, I got everything else taken care of. You may be able to handle most drivers, but not all.
And yes your a mod, so I assume you see the edit. I thought better of the statement. Its the fact that NSIS can't handle it. If you have issues, you should be able to find my email or speak with me via PM in IRC.
