Small Computer Problem

On my computer, the windows firewall can not turn on. When I boot up it says that windows firewall is off and when I try to turn it on it says that security center can't turn it on. Could someone please help me on this one as I have no idea what to do.

I have no other firewall and I am on an administrator account.
