I've serached everywhere, this forum, google and a host of other site and cannot find a portable personal finance manager. There is finance software for Palm and Pocket PC, but none (that i can find) for USBs.
AceMoney Lite (http://www.mechcad.net/products/acemoney/) is a good solution, however it is not portable (it creates 26 keys and 52 values). Attempted to make it portable using Deuce's QuickPort NSIS Template v1.1, however i do not have enough knowledge to do so.
Is anyone using a good portable finance manager, or successfuly made a launcher to one?
If you don't mind running a Java application try jGnash http://jgnash.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
Download the platform independent jar file, not the windows .exe file. You can even start jGnash with PStart. You will probably need some documentation to get started and jGnash has hardly any but you will find that GnuCash documentation helps, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GnuCash
