I would like to use the ReadyNAS Remote software but I do not have admin privileges to install the software. Could this app be made a portable app? Thanks.

From how Netgear describes it, it installs a driver to make the NAS appear on the network. Since you don't have admin privs, it wouldn't work even if it was made into a portableapp.
For a much easier and more viable way, try setting up FTP and either using FileZilla or mapping as a network drive.
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
I also need (would love) a portable ReadyNAS remote app.
But I understand that I should be able to access the drive with FreeCommanderPortable.
But how do I retrieve the network drive from "outside" without ReadyNAS remote?
(The FTP isn't that safe (and eats process memory) so therefor I would prefer a remote login solution.)
Sorry if I am asking a stupid question.
