What does AHK portable actually do?

What does AHK portable actually do?

I know from a previous installation that AHK (the original not the portable) has this nice Recorder but the portable version doesn't seem to have it... so what exactly does it do?

I think it has the recorder.

I think it has the recorder. It can run and compile a scripts.
