hey all,
I'm having an issue where evertime I launch firefox after upgrading to 3.5.7, the same 3 tabs pop up ("Welcome to Firefox", "Mozilla Firefox Start Page" and "DownloadHelper" which I added more than a year ago) even though I specify to save tabs after closing.
I am able to save bookmarks and I've tried deleting the "localstore.rdf" file but that didn't help at all.
No settings are saved any longer than the current session that I am using.
Anybody have any ideas?

Try this.
Delete the entire "FirefoxPortable" folder, usually in "[X]:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable" and do a complete 3.6 reinstall.
After that, right click on the folder (FirefoxPortable). Go to the properties option. Remove the "Read-Only" checkbox if it isn't already there. Exit out of that menu if it's not there. Click on "Ok", and apply to all items, sub-directories, etc.
Launch Firefox Portable again and see if that worked
Make sure you backup your existing Firefox installation, though, so you don't lose your settings!
