why isn't there a forum section for themes?

The PA.c theme format isn't complete yet. When it is, we'll be debuting a theme forum for PA.c Platform themes.

Which is not to say themes don't exist for the many versions of PortableApps that have been released. They're just not centralized and you have to search the forums for them. And they won't be deleted when(ever) PA.c's theme format is released, they will still be scattered thoughout the forums and separate from the theme forum.
Needless to say, creating a theme forum would be a good idea even now. Everthing would be centralized, and when the new format is released the new themes would just be added to it.

There are lots of themes for every version - I have 5 or 6 I've made myself.
And, unless John drastically changes everything about the theme format (size, layout, OS) most of those will be easily adaptable to the new format.
Unfortunately, this type of forum doesn't seem to support images well. I would prefer something where you can post a decent-sized image of the theme. It should have a gallery with download links, even if the themes and images are hosted on a different site.
