is there anything similar to the software mentioned in the above link? this app would end all our portable problems. hope there is a personal edition for free.

Well this is exactly what

Well this is exactly what I'd love to have as well. Being able to use any application as guest on any host computer.
mkPort sounds very promising, really looking forward to it ..
