Has anyone else out there heard about MUDs? (For those that don't know, they are essentially a text-based multiplayer game.) There's some pretty good ones out there (for example, Discworld). How many people here actively play MUDs?
If there's enough interest I'll put MUSHClient Portable up for beta testing

Discworld MUD
If heard of them but never played one, but I'm playing now
"It's just an online installer. It's not going to mug you.", JTH
"The shell is the key to unlock Linux's greatest advantages."
I play the discworld mud and would absolutely love to get MUSHclient portable.
+1 Interest.
Holy cow, I haven't played a MUD in like 10 years and they were considered old and losing favor to graphical MMO's back then. Still they can be horribly addictive and quite a bit of fun. It all depends on what you enjoy about an MMO. If it's stats and exploring then MUDS are pretty sweet, but if you can't deal with stats and exploration without cutting edge graphics you'll probably go crazy trying to play one.
Hmmm now I might have to go test the MUD waters again...
I used to play Necromium a few years back. I just used PuTTY though.
