As I said in your "best anti-spyware" thread, there is no "best" one. It's all a matter of personal preference, really; what one person thinks is the best might not be for someone else.

And again, like I said before, please refrain from posting threads with all-caps titles. It's annoying and immature.

I agree with Bruce, there's no "best", it all comes down to your preferences and needs. NOD32 has served me well so far.

However, a decent free one (so I am told, never used it much myself, but it scores OK on the detection rankings) is Avast!

False Positives

Careful with Avast as it will routinely have false positives in the various portable apps. This has happened at least 4 times in the last year. And Avast's default is to delete the file when you run it.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
