Very Soon Now

It's coming "Very Soon Now"™. I'm actually working on the updater code for the next beta right now (at 1:30am).

The older Beta didn't work properly without manual configuration. And its updater file it uses on the server has been retired for an updated format that's being used with the new one. The new updater file is already complete for it and ready to go. The final work is being done on the client itself for release in the near future.

Thank You for the update John

I'll be happy if the updater is part of the suite Smile

And thank You too for the new "Very Soon Now"™ Wink I'll use it too in the future if it is allowed by the Tm holder Smile

Any news for us on the development of the updater? I'd love to see it an update feature integrated into the PA platform some day.

Awww man! These type of 'announcements' are such a tease to me!

I can't wait for an updater that rocks!

me too im tired of waiting for this updater.

and i do not only want to use it for update, but i want it for install stuff the first time too,

finally installing software in a good runtime without clicking 1000 times, like i do it since almost 5 years under linux.

thanks john for development!

Supported

Adding all files in the Portable App Directory, or picking and choosing the ones you want, is supported and enabled by default.
