As most CD virtual drives, it requires admin rights to map a drive letter and mount the ISO file into it. If you need to burn something, InfraRecorder can take care of the burning process, while 7-Zip can explore the content of an ISO file as if it was an archive (ie: ZIP, RAR, etc).
MagicISO is horrible, horrible software. The world would be a better place without it.
If you were unlucky enough to download a spam torrent that was hijacked by these GPL violators and then re-encoded into the UIF format, here is a free tool:
uif2iso http://aluigi.org/mytoolz/uif2iso.zip
program for converting the UIF files (Universal Image Format, used by MagicISO) to uncompressed images depending by the input file type: ISO, BIN/CUE, MDS/MDF, CCD/IMG/SUB and NRG.
on Windows the tool works from both command-line and GUI (double-click on uif2iso.exe).
supports multi part files too.

OP should search next time. The reasons M-P-3 stated are also stated for similar programs
