Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to install the .paf.exe files without user interaction into a certain directory, in the way the PortableApps Suite does.
My researches with Google and within the source code of the PA Suite came to different results:
On the one hand, according to some members there aren't any switches for the installation files ( https://portableapps.com/node/14174 ), but on the other hand, I was able to find some switches ( https://portableapps.com/node/7033 ). However, the last thread is about three years old and these switches don't seem to work anymore, although I found them within the "TfrmMenu.pmnuitmOptionsAddAppClick" section in the PA Suite 2.0 Beta 4 source code. Since I searched the whole source code and didn't find another procedure which does the job, it has to be this one.
I tried different switches but didn't find the right one until now. Could somebody tell me whether there are command line switches for a silent setup of the PortableApps' paf.exe files or, if not, how the PA Suite is able to install them silent?
Otherwise, another way is a to automate it with AutoIt or AutoHotkey, but I don't like these solutions ( http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=400 ).
Thanks in advance.
und wilkommen hier!
I don't think there are switches for silent installs. the platform sends the install directory to the installer (I don't know how) but that only skips the first pages. You still have to press Yes once.

But when you have a look into the source code of the PA Suite - there have to be switches.
I'll visit the IRC and try to find an answer there.
