eXpresso Development Ideas?

This is a topic for eXpresso Ideas. If you're looking the actual program, please get it over here

Convey: Now that I'm considering this more and more, I'm starting to think this is a good idea. How about I implant the entire Convey Portable into a sub-menu in eXpresso? I've already finished simple link copying in eXpresso but I'm actually willing to ditch all that. Or should I just keep working out the last few bugs in my own Convey? (Note that I almost consider this cheating :P)

Flag Icons: In the Languages sub-menu, would it be a good idea to implant flags? I can already picture it looking sleek and awesome. You know, US flag for English, China's flag for Chinese. Sure it would take forever to gather each flag for each individual country, but is it worth it?

PFA Method Association: Some of you already know this, but the hooking method in eXpresso isn't very good. Considering this, how about an option to switch between hooking and registry? Opinions?

HotKeys: I originally figured that since the Platform uses Win+Alt+Space, eXpresso should go with Win+Alt stuff. I'm also thinking about changing this. What should it be instead of Win+Alt? Even if I were to figure out how to use user specified hotkeys, we still need to discuss a default.

File Icons: Yep, no doubt about it, I'm implanting this whether you weirdos out there like it or not Blum

Taskbar: We haven't received an update from Mr. Magical on the PortableApps.com taskbar for a really long time now. Using all the window commands in AutoHotKey, I think it would be possible to create something like this within eXpresso.

Making eXpresso the Ultimate Portable Environment of Awesomeness!: I'm a bit shaky at the thought of all the coding I would have to do, but should eXpresso be taken a step forward? Into creating an actual portable environment including

  • Right-Click context menu desktop Modding (E.G. 7-Zip Portable Send To's)
  • Background Swapping (A Bit pointless since it's in PA.c Platform already though)
  • Other ideas?

There you go, I need some opinions and ideas from you guys, feel free to request something to add to the list.

Platform File Associations

Just keep in mind that the platform is getting file associations in 2.0 Final. It's using a method similar to PFA (no hooking) and not codded in AutoIT (so no antivirus issues).

I know

But I'm mentioning it in association with PFA, which is AutoIT.

yeah, after I posted, I decided that that was you were saying. Sorry.

Of course, some one else may be as dense as me, so hopefully this will help them.
