Java VM Installed but not working in PFF--SOLVED

Edit, 10 minutes later: Turns out that "Mozilla/Netscape" is not checked in the Java console, and I don't have permissions to change it, so it won't work for me on this computer. Oh well.

I have a working Sun Java VM on my work machine; java -version shows the following:

java version "1.5.0_04"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_04-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_04-b05, mixed mode, sharing)

and Java apps work in IE.

about:plugins in PFF shows 7 different Java plugins all enabled. Rather than posting all 7 grids I'll just put the names here:

NPJPI150_04.dll, NPOJI610.dll, NPJava11.dll, NPJava12.dll, NPJava13.dll, NPJava14.dll, NPJava32.dll.

"Enable Java" and "Enable Javascript" are both checked in Tools, Options.

Despite all this, when I load a page with a Java app, I get a big blank space. No error message, no Java console, nothing. I've read the instructions, searched the forums, and looked around the web, and I still can't figure out why Java's not working for me in PFF. Any ideas?
