Does anyone know of a portable app like Ant Renamer (File renamer and file extension changer)? If it doesn't exist can someone work on the app I mentioned it is Open Source project.

Hi.
For future reference, please use the search box in the upper-right corner of the screen before posting. Ant Renamer is in the "Development forum" section, here:

If you need a program to rename many files, as long as their names are not written in Unicode, you can also use FreeCommander Portable from here (https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/freecommander_portable). Inside FreeCommander Portable, just select your files and press Ctrl+M (or F2 while several files are selected) to invoke the "Multi rename" window.
My posts are old and likely no longer relevant.
Here are two applications that may work for you. I believe both of them are entirely portable, just be sure to download the .zip file version. I use Renamer myself, but WildRename offers some nice options.

Thanks for the replies
I just found out that Renamer supports unicode, though WildeRename does not. I also found a reference to Ant Renamer which said the zip version is entirely portable as is. You may not need a substitute after all.
