Adobe Flash Updates

I have started poking around with using Portable Apps and saw several discussions on getting the most recent Flash. Here is what I have condensed and have working for both Chrome and Firefox.

I use Chrome on my desktop, so I did the latest Flash update and found the new files:

- flashplayer.xpt
- NPSWF32.dll
- NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe (not sure you need this one)

Copied them, creating the directory and/or replacing if necessary, where PA: is the PortableApps installed drive:

Google Chrome path -> PA:\GoogleChromePortable\App\Chrome-bin\plugins

Mozilla Firefox path -> PA:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins

Loaded up the browser, went to a Flash site and got About Flash, confirmed latest version.

A bit manual, but avoids getting Flash updates from anywhere but Adobe. At least you have some chance of being current..
