Hi all,
I've got a non-portable installation of TB2 and want to upgrade to TB3 portable. How can I import my settings and existing eMails from TB2 into TB3 portable?

Install ThunderbirdPortable, run it once to configure it (start an account, etc), and then quit.
In your favorite file manager, you'll see that a \ThunderbirdPortable\Data\profile folder was created, with various files and folders in it with names like \Mail and \chrome
Go to your existing Thunderbird (non-portable) profile folder and copy the entire contents of the profile folder over to the newly-created ThunderbirdPortable profile folder.
Fire up ThunderbirdPortable and enjoy.
