Proxy Bypass

I know a great application that bypasses the proxy, but it is not compatible with MAC... and it sucks a lot. It's called Ultra Surf. The website is ultrareach.com It works really good on your flash drive. It just should be formated for portableapps.

That's not a bad report, actually

Basically, virustotal says that

Thirty seven AV apps say that it is clean

One said that it had been compressed
(VirusBuster;5.0.27.0;2010.06.14;Packed/Execryptor)

Two say that some bits of it look a bit like something they once saw in a malware, using their heuristic scanner
(CAT-QuickHeal;10.00;2010.06.14;(Suspicious) - DNAScan
McAfee-GW-Edition;2010.1;2010.06.14;Heuristic.BehavesLike.Exploit.CodeExec.EOLO)

And one says that it actually recognises it as a specific malware
(eSafe;7.0.17.0;2010.06.14;Win32.Corrupt.Ep)

I'm not saying that it isn't malware, I'm just pointing out that we've had much higher hit-rates than that as false positives on apps from here that we know to be clean.

4 out of 30-something ain't bad

That's a pretty good score. A lot of AV programs are very eager to flag packed executables as malicious. However, the comment left by brigrove on that WOT link is pretty damning.
