File Management as an application category

I think File Management should be a standalone category in the application directory. This could then have File Compression & Packaging, File Managers, Others and Synchronisation (Australian English :p) as sub-directories.

This would also break up the Utilities listing as well.

What do you think?

yes

the Utilities list is indeed very long and your idea looks like a good plan.

Nope

File Management isn't really a broad enough category. Synchronization isn't really file management, nor is compression.

What we're actually doing is ditching Operating Systems and adding Security. Several of the things in Utilities are moving to Security and Utilities is getting a few more sub-categories. This will go live with the App Directory update.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
