Defragmentation requires pretty low-level access to a drive in order to move the files around at the cluster level. I doubt any defragmentation tool would work without administrative rights, though I could be wrong. Somebody please correct me if I am.

But you can try Defrag 2.20 or Drive Manager.

none of this tool seem to work
Defrag 2.20 is running fine here. The prog requires no installation and I am able to run it from my USB thumbdrive with no troubles at all.
Does it require administrative privileges, though? If you're running it under an admin account, porter, then of course it will work. monkey is trying to run it under a limited/guest account.
