For every other format. But WMV3 isn't supported by any open source software (WMV is a closed, proprietary, Microsoft format, remember) so VLC uses WMV10 to play it if it's available. Nothing but WMP can play WMV3.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I never really hated Microsoft until they started trying to make everything have to use MS software. *sigh*
Hopefully, like the guest said, the FFmpeg people will decode WMV3. DJ said that WMV 1&2 can be played already.
