This folder is removed on exit of VLC Portable. VLC itself creates these folders. It can't be prevented. So the launcher moves them back to your flash drive on exit. I just ran it 3 times and it removed every time.
Side Note: AppData\Roaming is the equivalent of Application Data on Windows XP and earlier, for users who are confused by it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I reinstalled VLC, the folder is now removed when the app is closed, but everytime when I try to watch a movie it builds the font cache. Is that normal? I mean shouldn't it run just fist time?
I dont have the Roaming folder...so I dont have this problem.
What did you do? Play a video? Or streaming? encoding?

The vlc folder is created once the app is started.
