At this site, most of the apps are open source licensed, which allows the developer to modify and distribute the app legally. Other apps are freeware, which is only offered with the permission of the original developer.
Commercial apps - where they are closed source and you have to pay for the software - are not offered here yet. It's quite complicated to obtain permission from the developer, and create a portable version that is only usable by the user that paid for it. And even though somewhere out on the internet some person may have created an unofficial, cracked portable version of a commercial app, it can never be hosted or promoted here.
