Wallpaper switcher in WIndows 7

I use the built in desktop wallpaper switcher on my portableapps drive. Just wondering if there's a way to not switch it for windows 7 machines only, or perhaps just on my home machine.

Thanks in advance for any input.

no

Right now it either switches the wallpaper on every PC if you have the pic in the right place or it doesn't.
Changing that behaviour requires a rewrite of that part in the platform.

WRONG!!!

Sorry but you are completely and utterly wrong.
Right click on the desktop and go personalise.
Click Desktop Backgrounds (The first icon down the bottom).
Choose 1 wallpaper. Click the image to select the one or click the checkbox in the upper left corner of the image to select multiple.
To stop it changing you want to click the image you want and click OK.

Enjoy,

PortableApps.com wallpaper switcher, not windows one

Shane, I believe you are mistaken. The OP was asking about the built-in wallpaper switcher in the PortableApps platform, not the built-in windows one. The advice given is correct in that case.

Thanks

Didn't think it was "smart" enough to do that, but what do I know?

Thanks for your answers

It's just windows dressing anyway

If it causes you issues, you should just not use it at all. It doesn't have any function other than to tweak one visual.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
