Hi there,
I installed keyconfig plugg into portable firefox. All worked properly BUT when i copy whole portable firefox folder to new folder place then it doesnt work. I cant see kayconfig under tools menu..so i cant use it. How can i sett it properly? i dlike to changing firefox portable directory soever. Thanks for reply.
It stopped working because you changed Firefox's path.
Some plugins store paths and if you move it around, they stop working because they cant find their files.
Most of our apps here only support a changing drive letter with the rest of the path remaining the same (eg when you have it installed to your usb drive and the drive letter changes as you move from PC to PC).

I am using two systems on my pc., so i tested copy port. firefox from C:\test\PortableFirefox (here working)to another system C:\test\PortableFirefox. I can say path is the same but plugg is not working. Any idea to solve this problem?
There are some FF plugins that store additional data in AppData or the registry. If keyconfig does, it might be lacking data.
Check [UserName]\AppData\Local (folder is called like this in Win Vista/7, not sure about XP) for a folder called keyconfig or similiar, if it exists, this likely to be the problem.
You could also perform a registry search for keyconfig.
If you find something, please report here, I think it should be easy to create a launcher for the FF launcher (:D), that would take care of this, with the PAL.

Do you really thing there is a need for 2 launchers?

Ok, it would also be possible to adjust FFs launcher a bit, but this isn't PAL, so the NSIS code would have to be changed and recompiled.
And this would have to be done after each and every update.
Ok, PAL for this task would be a bit overdone, some lines of NSIS would also do. Then you would only have to save that launcher somewhere and copy it to FFs folder after an update.

But wouldn't we then need a third launcher that takes care of the second, which takes care of the first?

the plugin on the new location might help.
Some plugins are not portable so they can not be moved.
