Maxthon Browser

Has anyone tried this browser. Looking at their overview page, it looks really nice. A friend asked about it. and asked for my recommendation, but as I am unable to install & try it out right now, I thought I'd see if anyone one else has any experience with it.

Buggy but that was a while ago

I tried it quite a while ago while looking for portable browsers that are based on the IE rendering engine (to replace the then non-portable Avant Browser). Unfortunately, at the time if I remember correctly it was pretty clunky and bug-ridden. I seem to remember crashing a lot. Otherwise though, it had some good features and if it's still in active development then It's probably improved a lot since that time.

If you're looking for an IE based browser then you might like to try TheWorld Portable

I used to use GreenBrowser a lot but the translated English interface could sometimes be a little confusing and inaccurately labeled. It did have a very strong feature set though, far beyond that of Internet Explorer at the time.

Pretty good if I do say so myself, but...

I think it's interface is somewhat cluttered. Works at a pretty good pace, but indirectly reminds me of IE.

I'm tired of people living in their fantasy world when the clock is ticking away, and when they are unable to see reality for what it is.
