When I clicked "Check for updates" in the "Manage Apps" category, it said that there wasn't a connection detected, which was correct because at that time I didn't have the modem hooked up to the Internet. Yet when I clicked okay, the Update Portable Apps dialog box appeared. Anyone have an idea why this would be? I would figure after clicking "OK" the updater would close.

Hi,
I just told my firewall to block the updater from the internet and i can confirm this behaviour. An error message appears, but then the update dialog shows up (empty).

You already posted this bug in the PortableApps.com Platform Beta 5 topic. Could you please not double post in the future? Thanks
Very annoying (bug).
This is fixed in the 'Next' Pre-Release 3 release.
