I'd suggest double-checking them with virustotal.com to ensure it is a virus and not a false positive. If others show it as positive, delete them and scan you PC and drive fully (along with any computers you may have used).
Keep in mind that neither CuteFTP nor Paltalk portable are made here, so we can't attest to their safety. While we scan all our software with multiple antivirus engines, add self CRC checks to ensure they aren't altered and digitally sign our software, other portable software sites do not.

Downloading these anonymous apps is kinda like finding a half-eaten hotdog on the floor of a baseball stadium, and picking it up and eating it. Maybe you catch something, maybe you don't, but don't go walking into a Nathan's and start complaining if you do!
We have perfectly good, reliable, and clean FTP and IM apps here, so ditch those mystery apps and use ours.

Again, the developers here are not responsible for the PalTalk application you have. You'd have to ask the developers from where you got that application.
Nobody here wants to download potentially virus infected software, so you might as well forget that idea and move on.

The files are infected with malware. I've removed the links. You should delete the software and not use it. Wherever you got it from, I'd suggest not getting software from them again. Additionally, the software is illegally repackaged, so you can't post those links here either. Unlike other sites, we only deal with legal software here.

Delete the apps.
Rescan your computer.
Find better, legally packaged apps.
On this site, we don't support the use of illegal software, so nobody can help you with these. If you still want to use these apps, you will not get any help here.

There is no such thing, as a volunteer and technical support person for that program I can say that such a program does not exist, so in reality it is a hack.
Your question about Paltalk is best answered at www.paltalk.com or log inot the program and go to one of their staff help lobbies.

You asked for help, but we can't help you use apps that we don't make.
You should try Filezilla Portable, which is an FTP client here, it is as easy as CuteFTP. Our Filezilla Portable is fully supported by us.
Also, you got a response from vf2nsr, who is a support person for the original PalTalk, and he said that your Portable version is a hack (meaning, it is created illegally and not supported).
We'd like you to consider using our applications here, and if so, people will be happy to help you with the ones we provide. But we can't support your Paltalk Portable.

I reacted a little strongly to your links.
I never thought you put them up to intentionally infect people.
It was clear to everyone that you did not realize it was wrong to post links to files that may be infected.
It's happened here before a few times, and the links are removed quickly.
I've worked in tech support, and seen how destructive viruses can be, and how innocent links can lead to network-wide infections.
That's the worst part about viruses, that they can be spread accidentally by good people who don't know better.
So again, please relax about this. We don't think you are trying to put virus on people. But you need to understand that viruses make people very very nervous, so in the future, please try to understand that it is always a bad idea to link to infected files.
