Nice Thing!!

But here's the first problem:

I got the SegaCD bios files configured, closed the app and copied it to another drive into a subfolder. Example:

Installed to D:\Emulators\KegaFusionPortable
Copied to C:\[WindowsStuff]\Desktop\KegaFusionPortable

After running the KFP the paths weren't configured properly. They were changed from drive D: to drive C: but it didn't get the other directories in the path for the bios files.

Good work anyway! Wink

Not Supported

The PortableApps Launcher doesn't support changing the paths, only the drive letters. This is a limitation that I'm not particularly fond of, I wish the Launcher was path independent, but the higher ups have said that it is a feature that not many people would use so they are not going to implement it.

My advise is if you would like the launcher to support path switching, start a new thread asking for it. Until it gets implemented into the launcher, there's nothing I can do about it.

2.1

I haven't been fond of this limitation either. See Support for directory moving in the PortableApps.com Launcher 2.1 release notes.

Could it be that it doesn't like profile folders?

Windows has a lot of funky stuff that goes on in the background with regards to the user profile folders and their paths, and I've seen it cause problems.
What happens if you copy it to a standard subfolder of C: that isn't inside the user profiles folders?

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.

I'll try...

...to move it to another directory, not being a Windows directory, when I'm back at my PC. Thank's for the tip! Smile

Tested

I got it running from D:\Emulators\SEGA\KegaFusionPortable\ and just removed the "Portable" for the test. The SegaCD bios files weren't found. I got the bios stored in .\KegaFusionPortable\App\KegaFusion\bios

All paths are stored in the Fusion.ini in .\KegaFusionPortable\Data. Just seems like, these need to be fixed to point to the KegaFusionPoartable folder.

finally!

I was waiting for a emulator like this to come out. It works perfectly on my drive. Ive been working on a portable version of the MESS emulator for awhile, so its nice to have at least one emulator thats finished on my drive( besides dosbox.) keep up the good work!
