Does anyone knows where to place the --enable-vertical-tabs option to make the portable show the tabs in such way?

Copy over [X]:\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\Other\Source\GoogleChromePortable.ini to [X]:\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable. Then open up the file, and add -enable-vertical-tabs to the Additional Parameters option.
Am I right in thinking that an analogous ini file is not available in the original or non-portable version? I found the ini file pretty nifty! Thanks to whoever came up with it.
thanks!
The way I've being doing it in WinXP3 is to edit the "target" in Properties. So, for example, ~ChromePortable.exe would become ~ChromePortable.exe -[em]whichever switch you want[/em]
With more recent Chrome versions a single - does the job. There's no need for --.
sad but they canceled the feature already.
I've read this is n/a, or that it was dev-only...
I'm on Version 41.0.2272.101 (64-bit)... there's an Chrom update-checker that occasionally pops up (usually when streaming in XBMC) telling versions out of date, but when I try and use the update feature, it fails.
Anyway back to --enable-vertical-tabs, does it still work?
I've tried copying the .ini with the
AdditionalParameters=--enable-vertical-tabs
but it doesn't give me any options after restarting, and doesn't seem to have the desired effect (all tabs are still horizontal).
Is it (this feature) dead, or am I missing something?
Thanks!
