Description: Widelands is an open source (GPLed) real-time strategy game. It is built upon the SDL and other open source libraries and is (and will always be) under heavy development. If you knew Settlers I & II™ (© Bluebyte), then you already have a rough idea what Widelands is all about because widelands is heavily inspired by those two games.

Installer Integrity Check Fail

I'm getting the above error when trying to run the installer. Downloaded twice and error occurs on both occasions.

crash - closed game

When I start the single player, then it load and after that it crash, it will be closed, after the crash.

I have win7 64bit

I've had quite a few crashes

I've had quite a few crashes too, but restarting the app seems to work - I think it took me 4 or 5 restarts the first time I ran it, since then it has been running fine every time. Awesome game, good work - looking forward to seeing this develop further.

someone pick this up or official release?

I wonder if this could someone pick this up or be made an official release... I know this can be made portable, since PortableApps.com doesn't have too many RTS games. This is only dagardner's development, be went inactive before he could finish it... I know this game is one of few open-source real-time strategy (RTS) games out there... Wink Current version is Build 19
